STANDARD/LUXURY TOILET HIRE

The number of guests will determine the number of loos required.

Other factors to consider are:

 

  • Duration/length of hours of your event is to run for. Particulary alcohol and fluid/food consumption-is everyone eating and drinking at the same time and therefore needing the loo at the same time.

 

  • Male/Female Ratio. Is the unit only available for short intervals/breaks?-there could be longer queues. Extra time should be given for children,elderly,infirm.

 

  • Is there overnight camping? Campers often brush their teeth and wash in the loos.Dont forget adequate staff facilities.

 

Any of the above may result in extra toilets being needed.

 

PUBLIC EVENT

For events licenced for public enetertainment please agree toilet facilities with the local authority.

Lighting at night should be 100 lux for general toilet areas and 200 lux for disabled toilet areas ( CIBSE )

As a general rule 1 disabled toilet is needed per 2,000 people to comply with the Disability Discrimination Act.

Private events however do not legally require a disabled toliet unless you are aware of any guests with specific needs.
